If you downloaded a Themerex theme on Envato Elements, without getting a regular purchase code (like for premium themes bought on Themeforest.net), then this step-by-step guide is for you. It shows how to activate the theme using Envato Elements token.
- After activating the theme, you get a screen asking to enter the purchase code or Envato Elements token. Please select the second option and click on “Follow this link” below.
2. As a result, you will be redirected to the Envato Elements login page. Please sign in to your account to generate the Envato Elements token.
3. As soon as you sign in, you will see that the token is automatically generated. All you need is to copy it using a button on the right.
4. Then, open the previous browser tab to see the Theme Activation screen. Enter your name, email address and paste the token to “Envato Elements Token” field.
5. Finally, click on “Submit” button and you are done! The page will be reloaded with a green tag “Activated” at the top.
“Disconnect Domain” button below allows you to disconnect the token from the current installation and activate the theme again on another domain.
!!! Please make sure that you have an active Envato Elements subscription. Only in this case, you will be able to activate the theme and get access to the theme dummy data and bundled plugins. Please upgrade your Envato Elements subscription and try again.
