Even though I included Iconclub under the “Icons” category it is much more than merely a set of Icons. In fact, it’s an entire application to help you prototype much faster!
It includes over 8,000 unique icons from lots of popular repositories that are completely free for commercial use. It also has a search bar to help you find what you need in seconds.

It’s author, Paweł Pacura, will help you figure out how to choose the correct typefaces, pair, and format them properly.

Web Field Manual
The Web Field Manual is an awesome, visually-organized resource that is an absolute must-read for beginner developers.
It contains loads of helpful information on pretty much all aspects of web design. And even though the tips it gives you are rather basic, it also points you to other resources that cover the topics you’re learning in much more detail. And there is a lot of those resources.
Speaking JavaScript
As the name suggests, Speaking JavaScript is a book that will help you learn JavaScript and tackle absolutely any JS project in the future.
And even though it is available for free, it is actually quite a comprehensive guide (it even says so on the book’s cover) and will help you get on your feet in the world of JavaScript.

Resilient Web Design is a web book that is designed to be read without the need of downloading it.

Calcolor
Calcolor is awesome. It’s a resource that help you manage digital colors.
What it allows you to do is pick a color, which will lead you to its own page. There, you will see which colors it matches with and will also be able to modify it, blend with other colors, and create your own palettes.
It’s a great site to refer to if you need quick tips on what looks good with what.
Unscreen
Unscreen covers a more technical side of things. More specifically, it rids you of having to use a green screen by allowing you to remove the background of any video pretty much automatically.
You can even slot in a different background instead of the original one right there! And even though you’re probably not going to use the site’s backgrounds, it is still an invaluable tool that will save you a whole lot of your precious time.
Snapfont
Snapfont is an awesome Chrome extension that allows you to quickly test how any font looks on any website.
Its free version allows you to check any font within the Google Fonts library, but if you want to upload your own ones and see how they fare you will have to get the pro version.
But hey, Google Fonts features over nine hundred unique typography choices, and yours is probably somewhere in there anyway.
It also works on Firefox and with absolutely any website out there, regardless of what it’s been built on.

If you’re constantly on the lookout for free pictures to use in your projects and are tired by constantly monitoring dozens of resources, Check out StockSolo.
It has been created to help you out with this specific task. In its database you will find over three million photos from various resources, all gathered in one place.
